Careers · Swiss Rotors North America
Demand for our fans and energy recovery wheels keeps growing, and our U.S. manufacturing operation is growing with it. Swiss Rotors is now looking for a hands-on Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operation and help us scale as customer demand grows.
Built for Air. Built to scale.
Swiss Rotors designs and manufactures fans and wheels, including energy recovery wheels, for leading HVAC and data center cooling equipment manufacturers. All products supplied to the North and South American markets are made in our dedicated U.S. facility, close to our customers and the markets they operate in.
The next step is scale. That is where our new Plant Manager comes in.
One plant. Full ownership.
The Plant Manager is responsible for all day-to-day plant operations, including production planning and scheduling, purchasing, quality, logistics, warehouse, and inventory.
This leader will manage floor supervisors and operators, set and track KPIs, improve OEE, and make sure we deliver on time, at the right quality, and at the right cost.
The role requires a strong operator who is comfortable on the shop floor and in front of customers and senior leadership.

- Manage, coach, and develop supervisors, leads, and floor operators across all shifts.
- Build a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company policies.

- Oversee receiving, storage, shipping, and inbound/outbound freight.
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, ERP discipline, and sound warehouse practices.
- Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and inventory levels to cut carrying costs without risking supply.
KPIs and Performance Management
- Define, track, and report plant KPIs: OEE, on-time delivery, scrap/rework, labor productivity, inventory turns, safety incidents, and cost per unit.
- Lead daily production meetings and visual management (tier boards, dashboards).
- Drive OEE improvement by tackling availability, performance, and quality losses.
Continuous Improvement
- Apply Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, value stream mapping, standard work) to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Partner with engineering and maintenance on preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, and capital projects.
- Prepare and manage the plant operating budget.
