New concept of Fan Set
Share
A few weeks have passed since we launched the ECTRA motors – a new concept of powering our EC Fans. Since that time we observe your interest in our new product what makes us happy.
However, new motor is not the final goal. It’s only a milestone of big project spread over time aimed to develop a new EC fan offering better performance, higher efficiency and lower noise – in other words – three the most crucial parameters of every air movement device used in various ventilation systems.
What are the following milestones? There are two ahead to run.

The CUBELEG
The one we are running now is a deep redesign of the fan supporting brackets – an important component of EC fan that holds the whole construction in one piece, secures its stiffness and perfect alignment between the impeller and inlet funnel, regardless of working conditions, or the way the fan is installed in the AHU.
Thanks to a new material – Magnelis-coated steel – the new CUBELEG system will offer superb corrosion resistance, enabling our fans to be used even in the most aggressive environments.
The excellent CUBELEG design, along with its outstanding rigidity and the precise alignment of the impeller and funnel, also stems from the manufacturing technology employed, which eliminates the need for welding, thereby ruling out the risk of localized structural changes in the material or thermal deformation.

SWISS PRO
The CUBELEG is also aimed to maximize the potential of the new design of the fan impeller we are about to launch. More precisely – a new range sized between 280 and 630 mm made in 5 blades design called SWISS PRO which will become a part of our new range of EC Fans.
What’s the essence of Swiss Pro impellers?
There a few of them. One of them is the efficiency increase – that is, the way in which input power is converted into useful power delivered directly to the ventilation network.
Another advantage is the reduced impeller mass, which translates into lower starting current – even during rapid startup (a key parameter for fans used in data center cooling systems).
Let us not forget that reduced rotor mass also extends the service life of the motor bearings.
Together with the Swiss Pro launch we will provide detailed technical information covering the performance of new EC Fans, as well detailed information you may need to apply them.
